A truly
lumbering,
very large
(-gigantonormous-)
frog...
we stumbled
upon at night.
His little arms
had joints...
and he looked as if
he could do push-ups
and hang unto a tree trunk.
He was really strange.
We kept him under
a laundry basket for
our daughter to see!
Just another
cool example
of how nature
is very
LARGE in...
the
High Country
... here :)

Basically, our
entire property
was covered
in downed
tree limbs,
whole trees
and branches
and thousands
of twigs....


which I have
been painstakingly
raking up for days!
(I'm still NOT done!)
We were able to
replace OVER
a cord of
firewood
for next year :)
But it is beautiful~eh?
