Some of the
wood
we recovered
from
the Ice Storm
(of Dec. 25, 2009.)
Basically, our
entire property
was covered
in downed
tree limbs,
whole trees
and branches
and thousands
of twigs....
which I have
been painstakingly
raking up for days!
(I'm still NOT done!)
We were able to
replace OVER
a cord of
firewood
for next year :)
But it is beautiful~eh?

I'd be right there with you with the slow raking, lg. :) They do look a bit like stacked up pencils. Will you be able to use them for firewood?
