We have BIG bushes like this all over the mountains and they are blooming right now; they seem to end up with small green leaves on them....but I'm not well versed in plants; not sure exactly what they are. I will try and find out though. The yellow in the dancing sunlight is makes for simply a gorgeous color!!

lg, that's definitely forsythia - the first blooming shrub of the Spring and a riot of glorious yellow. How lovely to have those scattered all over!
