ReplyDeleteHow insane is that? Seeing a score like 59-59 and continuing over 3 days! I sort of feel sorry for whoever wins because they are going to be completely and utterly spent.

What amazing athletic strength these blokes are showing. I loved listening to John McEnroe talk about it afterwards! He was giving the footballers some stick. Great stuff.
ReplyDeleteI am totally blinking amazed; I've 'loved' John Isner all along! He's so gawky and a calm dude; sweet also. And that Frenchman!!! What a scrapy awesome dude! He never quit shagging balls!!!! I mean running them DOWN. I cannot believe the 'show' they're putting on (for all of us) and I feel blessed. I will be watching W. today 4 certain!

Somehow I was out of the news loop yesterday (one of those days) and your post makes sense to me now after hearing about it on NPR this morning. I will be interested to see how this one comes out. Their stamina is astounding.
