ReplyDeleteI miss going to the local pumpkin patch in Kansas. The people had out a scale and a box for money and you would pick your pumpkin, weigh it and pay for it on an honor system. I often wonder if they still do that.
ReplyDeleteGrannie Annie, I haven't found a pumpkin patch with that set up yet...but we did find a gardener in Waukesha, WI where you would pick your potted plant out and leave your money behind via the honor system in a small, metal box! $1.00 a plant...
